Siren Song

As the eldest daughter of Queen Margaret III of Anorev, Sirena Mystria is the obvious heir to the throne. But their rival family, the Romans, are gaining power as her mother becomes more and more sick every day. Her mother's illness throws Sirena into the world of treacherous politics she was sheltered from before. Even with her unique ability to hear and mimic any voice from miles away, she struggles to survive in such a cutthroat environment without a guide.

She even questions if she can trust her two sisters who she used to be very close to. Their mother's illness has made all of them act even stranger than before, and with both of them being extremely accomplished in their fields of magic, Sirena fears their power.

Through her political endeavors she meets a boy near her age, who she is immediately strongly attracted to. She knows she cannot trust anyone, but with Joshuah it's hard to remember that.

Between juggling the Romans, her mother, the political decisions she must begin to make, not being able to trust her own family, and grudgingly falling in love with someone she knows she can't trust, Sirena begins to question everything.
