She wanted to be known as the person she was and not who she had become. Until she was okay with who she had become. Then she wanted to be known as who she was and not who she had been. ~ These poems are inspired by the soon to be released novel Stephanie ~

Ahana and Manvika met in New York and became soul sisters. Ahana, an orphan, never experienced a parent's love, while Manvika had a family that never cared for her. Despite their painful pasts, they became each other's strength. But a horrific accident changed their lives forever. The tragedy left Ahana needing facial reconstruction surgery-giving her an identical face to Manvika. Now, Ahana lives as Manvika, hiding her true identity. Meanwhile, the real Manvika was left paralyzed, losing half of herself, including her voice, as her vocal cords were damaged beyond repair. Ahana concealed the truth, while Manvika, drowning in self-hatred, wished for death. But can love find its way back to them? Will they ever get the justice they deserve?
