This is a sequel! To avoid spoilers to Star of Gryffindor, please read that before reading this! Astra Lewis and Albus and James Potter are back at Hogwarts, this time for a (hopefully) much less dangerous year. But after Wren Predatels's shocking betrayal, Astra is having a hard time. Albus and James seemed to have moved on all right, but for Astra, it's different. It's a very hard thing to find out your first and closest friend was never really there for you. Not to mention all the changes going on. With a new Ministry-appointed headmaster, things are being run a bit differently. There's a clingy, annoying first year who instantly latches onto Astra, but gets sorted into the wrong House. And, Astra's nightmares are getting worse, driving her roommates insane. Not to mention the strange new girl, a transfer from Beauxbatons, who not only seems mysterious, but is apparently interested in the Dark Arts. All of this pales in comparison to the attempts to kidnap James. Astra and her friends are wary of everything now, but somehow, someone is slipping past their defenses... The Next Generation
This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died. Pansy Parkinson's son always seems to get in the way. Lucius Malfoy has never been more evil. I've worked extremely hard on this story, so I hope you read it. Enjoy!
