Becoming The Alpha's Mate

We'd all been told the story from the day we were old enough to comprehend what a story was, the story of the mate curse. It was long ago when the Mother Luna had found her lover a man named Angelo, she had assumed they'd be together forever she didn't want to be without him. But he wasn't like her, he was a human, and he quickly grew bored of her finding himself with another woman. Mother Luna grew to hate him and the idea of love at all, so from that point on she cursed all werewolves decent, a mate. Someone whom they could not live without, literally. Once the two mates met they would fit together, they would never be able to part from one another without suffering the consequences of the curse, death. Of course this is just the more up to date version, not all the old mumbo jumbo wording, but the curse stood just the same. Some people got lucky and never found that other half, but they spent their whole lives searching for them and praying to find them. Personally I was hoping to be one of them, I never wanted to find him.
