Lou Ellen Blackstone is terrible at incantations. Being a child of Hecate, there are two things you must be good at-Controlling the Mist and incantations. Lou Ellen is good with the Mist, but incantations, well... We already covered that before. But in order to be worthy of Hecate and accepted by the rest of her siblings, Lou Ellen must master the art of incantations. When Lou Ellen receives a dream from her mother about her missing torch, Lou Ellen sees this as an opportunity to prove herself worthy to Hecate and her siblings. So she along with Will, Nico, and Cecil venture across the United States on a quest to find Hecate's missing torch before the autumn equinox. But while the four demigods are on this quest, something sinister is trekking behind them, with plans to start complete chaos using Hecate's torch.

Full of action and adventure, the demigods now must race against an unknown figure to find Hecate's missing torch before it's too late.
