"I love you." I whisper, shutting the door. Stepping backwards, I stare in awe at the car wreck. I cant even tell its our white SUV. We swerved off the road, and rolled five times. A line of trees stopped us from rolling any more. I need to call an ambulence or something! I reach for my phone, but remember my parents took it away. I glimpse at the phone in my moms hand, and see its broken beyond repair.I sink in disappointment. Well, i guess ill be hitchhiking today.

“ I have been nothing but good to you for the past two years!” I yell into my cell phone. I’m so angry and frustrated that my knuckles turn white from holding onto the steering wheel so tight. “And you know what Gary, I’m soooo done being with you, we’re through!” Then before giving him a chance to reply I hang up. I know that if I listen to him and his smooth talking I might just fall for his prince charming attitude, again. “uggh!” I screech into the empty SUV. The rain was coming down harder than when I left the party, making it hard to see through the pitch black. I knew I shouldn’t be driving so fast in such weather and it being a deserted road didn’t help. I look down to see that I’m going 50 miles per hour on a 25 miles per hour road. But before I could do anything about the speed, I see that dark figure that changes my life forever. It was standing in the middle of the road, facing my car not looking like it’s going to move. Not wanting to hit it I swirl out of the way but lose control on the slippery road. I desperately try to take control of the vehicle, knowing I can’t, I cry out as it hits a tree and the world goes dark. Alexander Miles lived a perfect life, full of good grades and wild parties. Her parents let her do most anything, her friends are amazing and her boyfriend Gary couldn’t be sweeter. Yes life was good! But one night something didn’t feel right when Gary called and explained he was going out of town. Following his car, he parks in front of an out of control party. "No! I don't wanna hear a damn thing you gotta say. You betrayed me!" I said as I snatched my arm away and stormed out without turning back. I got into my car and looked at the scratch in the mirror. I got more and more annoyed as he drove up, parked and unmounted his bike. He pulled off his helmet and shook his head, noticing me there staring at him. We just stared at each other, neither moving, neither speaking. He started to make his way up his driveway, not even bothering with a greeting, so I called out to him. "Hey! Where've you been?" I tried not to sound accusatory or angry, and I succeeded. Though I sounded more hurt than anticipated. He stopped and walked towards me. He walked kind of slowly, like he was trying to avoid me. I stood on the steps, fighting the urge to walk towards him so we could talk. Never ever did I think I'd want to talk to him, yet here I was. Once in front of me he stayed at the bottom step, not climbing up further. He said nothing and I repeated my question once again, "Where have you been?" He shifted then just replied with "Out." "Out?" I repeated, getting refueled with annoyance. "That's it? You've been missing all day and all you have to say is you were out?" "Fuck, dude, what are you, my mom? I was out! Are you trying to keep tabs on me or something?" I was angry at him, and started to feel feelings towards him that I haven't felt in months. I stepped down two steps to look at him eye level, ready to argue with him. But, rather than open my mouth to fight, I found myself staring at his tired gaze and freezing for a moment. I didn't want to fight with him, and I saw he didn't want to fight with me-at least, that was my hope. I let my glare fall and closed the distance between us, wrapping my arms around him in the tightest hug I could muster. He seemed shocked, remaining rigid in my arms until I quietly muttered, "I was worried about you, jackass," into his neck. He just sighed before relaxing and hugging me back.

We were going on a field trip. Quiet trip,for me.Not talking.
