In the year 2047 we are born with unique birthmarks that are turned into necklaces. These symbols are half of a whole picture. The persons soul mate has the other half to it. When the two are near each other the stones warm up and becomes colder as they get further. Quinn and her friends have never had their gems warm at all. For as long as they can remember their gems have stayed ice cold...that was until they visited Korea.
