Four teenagers hold the future of the universe in their hands, and one of them is a traitor. A higher power foretold of four chosen young adults, three of them are powerful angels chosen to help fight the battle of Armageddon. One of them is destined to become a traitor chosen by the most malevolent demon, named Beelzebub, who's going to make an attempt to destroy the world with help from his unbeknown, but evil, apprentice. The problem is, nobody knows who will become the traitor is, not even the traitor. Picking out the problem, with the constant fear of picking out the wrong one, could potentially hasten the worlds destruction. If the council kills one of the angels and leaves Beelzebub and his chosen apprentice standing, what would that mean for the future of the world?

But the people "blessed by Adaygue" face segregation, racism, and exploitation from the countries they live in. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
