In the small town of Lakeridge, Louisiana, some funky stuff has been going on. Sometimes it takes only the quietest to know; take Jasmine Melane for example, your typical cute antisocial shy girl of the week. With no friend in the world but her violin, she starts running into some trouble when she suddenly starts talking to Jacob- the smart, handsome, and utterly most crushable guy in the school. She finds out that there's more to him than just the human eye meets- and that the whole world literally dances on the edge of her fingertips. With gunshots and fiery danger in the way, Jasmine suddenly finds herself traveling out of the United States- fleeing for her life with a guy she just met, and knowing that if they seperate, it means death. Of course, when your traveling with a hellish angel, a vampire, and a seer, ((among other frightening people!)) what could go wrong?
