Maya was only 16 when she died. She was as normal as she can be, well cept being a major otaku, parents from Mexico, half her family were immigrants who came to America for a new life,and she gotten to know life by its ugly side. Growing up, she watched backstabbing, betrayal, and the deporting of family, her vision in life is jaded. She grew up too fast, and died too young.
Paradise. That's what every spirit in the Bridge hopes to attain.
In order to obtain Paradise, a spirit is selected and pushed into a new world, reborn, and must complete at least 3 miracles for every rebirth until the 3rd rebirth. Maya, knows this. Every spirit knows this.
Maya just didn't expected to be sent to a world where her childhood myths would come alive. She didn't even expect to be reborn as Jack Frost's main transportation.
