Cassel Novak has never seen the attraction towards having a family. Having never felt a connection to his own, with his families' constant aggression towards him, he never felt that he could fit in. Cassel's feelings were only confirmed when he was forced to leave the family home and need up on the streets. 

Shaun Whitton never had a whole family to begin with. His Father was never around and eventually his Mother left him to his own devices at a young age. Being abandoned to find his own way in life didn't have the best effect on him... That was until he found an injured man outside his flat in central London.
