As the story opens, Katelyn Monteiro, the novel's lead character, discovers that She has stage fright. Katelyn feels as if the world has been turned upside down and believes that she's a nerd.
Katelyn weighs all possible courses of action. Finally, after much careful consideration, Katelyn decides to sing on stage with the help of 'Chad nelson', a singer, who completely changes her life, her true love.
This is the only way Katelyn believes it will be possible to get back her dream of singing, the only
course to take.
It is this goal that Katelyn will aggressively pursue, all the way to the end of the story.

He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order.
