Long ago, our world thrived. Rivers and lakes were filled with beautiful, clear water. The forests and jungles lush with greenery. The mountains tall, and the valleys deep. Food was abundant, and balance was kept. The time of Great Mother Earth lasted for years… ...but when there is good, there is bound to be evil. A man named Abaddon became hungry for power. He sought the source of peace, and destroyed it. Abaddon discovered a great and powerful magic, and stole it for his own purposes. The balance was lost, and soon the world fell under a blanket of darkness. The sun did not rise, and the moon did not set. Stars were invisible, hidden behind the dark blanket that shrouded the skies. Everything perished. The trees rotted away, leaving many without a home. The mountains crumbled, taking many lives. The rivers were filled with a black fluid that rendered it undrinkable. The loss of light itself caused many plants to wilt and die. Abaddon created a kingdom, recruited armies, and plowed through all life. The soldiers destroyed everything they could. Burning anything that came in their way. Many more people died that day, and only a few escaped the grasp of the king’s men. Those who survived the fire, but were unable to escape, were slaughtered and brought back to the Black Castle. Those who lived hid. There wasn’t anything that they could do, other than hope that they were not caught. Yet, like a cycle of life, good began to slowly rise once again. And that is where the story begins.

In Elemental magic you can be one of four magic types; water, fire, earth, and air. The only problem is Violet is none of these things. Is she what they call a magic dud, or is she something rarer, more powerful, and more dangerous than anyone could have imagined!? Teasers, "Em, most girls sneak out for a boy, you sneak out for a unicorn." I began to cry as it reached for my face."No!" I screamed. "Please No!" I went to pull back the shower curtain, but some nagging thought in the back of my head stopped me. I didn't have a little brother, so why was there a little boy in my bathroom? I gulped and with shaking hands pulled back the shower curtain. "What!? How could that be!?" I yelled, and covered my hand with my mouth. Shouting wasn't such a good idea right at this moment. If someone heard us and came up here to investigate the noise we were making, they would find a boy and a girl, a bloody knife with both their finger prints on it, and a very very dead body. "Don't touch her!" he hissed and lunged at Henry. Running through the night wearing nothing but a flimsy hospital dress, while waving a dismembered hand in his hand, was a strangeness no regular person could hope to inspire to.
