When death comes, it doesn't give you a call, or pokes you on facebook or pings you on our messenger. It just comes and it's always sudden, like it has been hovering nearing the dark shadows, gauging your each and every stupid step and then suddenly snap at you... with a hunger so resilient that you don't even get a chance to bat your eyes and see when a soft chilly whispery voice says hello through the sudden misty cool air then there is a hard sting on your neck.

You blink once...

You don't even get a chance to shout for help!

You blink twice....

Only to realize that you're laying on the cold hard ground of some dark alley, chocking on your own blood, breathing ragged, counting your each and every breath, you're heads all fuzzy, body freezing like you've been paralyzed and your life slips through your finger with each beating pulse you feel in your ears...as it slows...and you watch your death walking away from you taking your life and disappearing into the mist.

You struggle with you weak limbs, you hands on the ground shaking from exhaustion as you try to reach out for something...anything. You tiredly move your heavy blurry eyes to see your fragile quivering fingers making pathetic attempts to move but failing miserable. You're breathing by now is straining, your lungs are on fire, you whole body feels like ice cold...you want to live, your fighting for it but you know you can't because you were a fool to drink too much, fool to fall in for a temptation, fool to not listen to the purple eyed bodyguard of yours, fool to think your night might turn out to be orgasmic-only now you're realising this as you lay on the cold hard ground of a dark smelly alley...and counting your last breath.

Then you don't blink. This time you close your eyes and pray if only your death could be less painful, less horrible.
