His way of showing her that he cares for her and always will be by her side no matter what causes her to develop a crush on him. Fearing she'd ruin a perfect friendship, Ruby takes no chances. But as they grow, they slowly drift apart. And that's when she realizes that she has always depended on him to make her feel better. That there was no way she could just suck it up, as they say. She continues living on with the thought of never being able to feel better again. She is trying to fix what needs to remain broken. She is the broken one. All until, they meet again...
