Finding The Elements

Raz is a 13 year old girl who wants a new start to her life. She has lived a devastating and abusive past that she wishes to forget. Her mother was an alcoholic and she barely remembers her father who left when she was only 3. She now has a new family who loves and cares for her and even a best friend who always has her back.

Life was pretty good until the attack.

Her brown eyes had suddenly turned blue and so had the tips of her hair. She also had an aching feeling to be surrounded by water. This was weird since she hated the pool after the drowning incident.

She doesn't understand what is happening and is especially confused when while washing her hands in the bathroom, droplets of water start to rise from the sink and slowly revolve around her. She stared in amazement and awe when she felt this calm and rushing feeling overcome her. She closed her eyes only to re-open them when she feels a presence behind her. She turns around to find 3 mysterious boys staring at her intently and one with a look of pure hatred.

"We need to talk", said one of them. That was all she heard until she finally came to her senses and screamed.
