The work of the Brothers Grimm have gained worldwide renown as the inspiration behind many modern classics in cinematic history, most notably, Walt Disney's children's' films. This is a collection of the original tales, of well-known works such as "Cinderella" ("Aschenputtel") , "The Frog Prince" ("Der Froschkönig") and "Sleeping Beauty" ("Dornröschen") and lesser-known ones, like "The Fisherman and His Wife" ("Von dem Fischer und seiner Frau"), "The Singing Bone" ("Der singende Knochen"), and "The Wedding of Mrs. Fox" ("Die Hochzeit der Frau Füchsin"), all of which are lovely tales that I hope you'll enjoy! :)

Rosalia is used to enchantment. With a brother who freed a beast and a friend who slept for over a hundred years, coming across enchantment doesn't phase her much. At least, it doesn't phase her when she's not directly dealing with it. But when she meets a talking frog and he ends up coming home with her, that changes things. Of course, after having been on the run for her life, meeting a talking frog wasn't as much of a surprise as one would expect on that particular day. But what does The Frog want? Does he really just want to spend time with her? And a better question, HOW can this frog talk? Besides that, there's him. Mr. Ernest Cliffwood. Charming and attentive and new, his sights apparently set on Rosalia but she's seen that playboy attitude from other rakes of the Ton and knows to be wary even if everyone else sees a marriage on the horizon as The Season gets into full swing. And there's one more person - more mysterious then Mr. Cliffwood. He appears and disappears in and out of the waltzing crowds as easily as if by some enchantment. What are his intentions? Who is he? Who is Mr. Cliffwood. And how does a frog talk?! ~~~~~~ (Please Note: These books link but it is NOT ESSENTIAL that you read them in order - they stand alone as well as link together) The Rose Quartet Reading Order: Beauty and The Beast: http://w.tt/1wczujq Sleeping Beauty: http://w.tt/1TFivIc The Frog Prince: Little Red Riding Hood: http://w.tt/1PBaNbs ~~~~ Cover art by: Bea Jackson Check out their work: http://beagifted.deviantart.com/

Kilan is on the run. From men he knows all too well in a forest he does not know well enough. And running into that tree didn't help. But when he wakes up, the forests are the least of his concerns. Kilan finds he has stumbled upon a castle, hidden deep in the woods, filled with servants and young masters who feel like they might just be more then they seem. And there are the thorns. Thousands upon thousands of thorns that cover the grounds and yet only cover one tower - why? And what about the dreams? The girl in the rose room? She seems so real, almost familiar, and yet he can only see her when he sleeps within the castle walls. She isn't there and he has not the time for a Sleeping Beauty. He has other things to contend himself with, in reality - in the waking world. His most prized possession is gone. A story book that means the world to him is lost within the forests - or worse, someone has their hands on it. Above all, it must be found, he has no time for a girl in dreams and the curse placed upon her - he writes fairy tales, he does not live them. He must find the book and be away from the strange Rose Castle. But someone has already noted his presence and has taken an interest in him. An interest one would not wish for. ~~~~~~ (Please Note: These books link but it is NOT ESSENTIAL that you read them in order - they stand alone as well as link together) The Rose Quartet Reading Order: Beauty and The Beast: http://w.tt/1wczujq Sleeping Beauty The Frog Prince: http://w.tt/1KphNHL Little Red Riding Hood: http://w.tt/1PBaNbs ~~~~ Cover picture by: Selene Regener Check them out: http://selenada.deviantart.com/

24 parts Complete

The story of the sleeping beauty has been told time after a time. A beautiful princess cursed to sleep forever. A handsome brave prince that rescues her. A true love's kiss that wakes her up. It's a story as old as time, known in nearly every single realm as one of the most romantic tales. Unfortunately, time has erased some of the most important elements: 1) The story takes place in Narnia, a fact forgotten by many in our world. 2) The princess did more than just sleep during the battle, people just go straight to the climax without taking into consideration the rest of the plot. 3) It was no handsome prince who rescued her, but a King. High King Peter, the magnificent, to be precise. Follow the story of Rory Browning (or better known to all the worlds as Princess Aurora) and her journey of self-discovery and true love.
