Kaitlyn started out her life in the Marine Corps dating a sweet guy name Darren, or so she thought. You see, Darren asked Kaitlyn to marry him, but when he got her pregnant, he backed out. Kaitlyn went through a spell of depression and drank herself to sleep for awhile. Ultimatley resulting in her miscarrying her child.
Shortly after miscarrying her baby Kaitlyn started to turn her life back around to how she started, even seeing a therapist just to help her through that. Kaitlyn got assigned to the field and to spend a week in a tent and doing her job as if she was deployed. This is where she met Shane. the perfect person to make Kaitlyn feel special. But after asking Kaitlyn to marry him, Shane was sent to Iraq on a deployment.
Well with Shane gone and a pregnant Kaitlyn, Darren tried to come back into Kaitlyns life.
