Sarah lost her mom due to that Mortal Kombat Tournament and was left to live with her Uncle Tom in Edenia because her father was unfit to raise a child. Because of this she swore to never have anything to do with Mortal Kombat ever again. But when she is invited to come to train for next years Tournament with some of the Mortal Kombat legends there is no way to decline.
