In year 3000, humans were already living a modern technological life. Criminals with utmost deeds were confined. They were isolated in a confidential prison without being known to the public. Monochrome is a virtual world invented for those people. The criminals were put into a deep sleep they connects their minds to that virtual world. This is where they will spent the rest of their lives.
This story's main character, Crimson is a young resident of this prison. Together with his female childhood friend, Frice, they were trapped in this world without even knowing what their violation was. As time passed by, Crimson learned about how messy this world has become, he decided to join an uprising group, Bichrome. In Bichrome, they were given special weapons and trained as assasins to take over Monochrome.
Will he someday found out the reason for him being in Monochrome?

100 years ago during a solar eclipse a strange light fell to the earth. No one knows if that light fell from the heavens all that is known is destruction shortly followed. This virus sent the world into an apocalyptic stone age. 50 years after the virus humans around the globe began to develop anomalies in their bodies causing strange mutations. Those who had been affected by this mutation were no longer recognizable. They were monsters rampaging through the devastated world. That is until a strange case where a woman was infected but did not mutate. She was thought to have been the cure. Little did they know she was actually the cause for the world we live in today. That's right she was the first, Tina Primrose, the virus eventually seemed to died off as the descendants of Tina became hunters who'd hunter their brethren with the abilities gifted to them through the blood of Tina Primrose. Then there was the war between the remaining humans and those monsters. Naturally the humans won with our aid. Life was fine as we rebuilt the world until the day of our betrayal. The new government formed by the humans banished us from this world and we were hunted down. The last surviving members of the Primrose bloodline were two siblings. A Boy named Dakota Isaragi Primrose and his sister formed a group known as L.U.N.A. An Organization dedicated to those who have been born with the cursed bloodlines to find solace. The government attacked the organization but to save his brethren Dakota struck a deal with the Government to spar the lives of the members of the organization if he turned himself over to the government. Sadly, he was also betrayed. His brethren slain and his memory wiped the government believed they'd won but, the battles only just begun.
