What are lies when they are the truth that you have endowed yourself in? What is truth when you are told none?

Meet Natalie Jensen. Eccentric, exquisite, artistic, coy, tenacious and slightly receptive. She is the image of everything opposite of someone idiosyncratic. Then again, looks are definitely deceiving.
On the outside she is a shy young woman who has great ambitions and isn't afraid to say as she pleases, but on the inside she is in total turmoil. Natalie is basically ausgespielt. She is more lost than anything and she's hurting more than she lets on.
It's just one bad trick after another and she honestly does not know why she bothers anymore. Her family is a complete and total mess and her social life is very nonexistent.

One unusual encounter leads to something so insane, she can not even stop what pours out of her mouth. When she may start regretting what she says something changes. Or is it someone? The fibs and white lies become something much more than what they are and she has not regret it once. Why? Because the first lie she told was to a complete and utter sociopath.

Nicolai Vertali. Complete enigma. Imperious, impetuous talker and a vexatious maniac. Overly handsome maybe with a to-die-for accent, but an enormous ball of rolling secrets. He crawls his way in only to bring nothing but danger. He is danger.

We were born with lies and we will die with more than can be carried.
