Salem has always been different than the other girls. She doesn't want a relationship, she doesn't follow rules, and she doesn't have feelings. Or she at least doesn't show her feelings. So when she meets Christian everything that she has ever known is shaken up. Christian is different than other guys. While most guys try to chase after Salem, Christian acts like he is waiting for her to go to him.

And Christian is just as confused because she is the only girl who doesn't run to him.. So when the bad boy meets his match, sparks will fly and some people will riot.
