I've lived my entire life, up to now, as a halfa--half human and half ghost. With a ghost as a mom, and a human as my dad, things can't possibly get more complicated than that. Normal just isn't in my vocabulary anymore. Then when I turned five something happened, my mom died right before my very eyes. My dad told me she was wounded by a halfa like me, a boy ghost named Danny Phantom. I've waited long enough--gathering my strength--now, I'll avenge my mom. Danny Phantom will pay for what he's done to her. I, Lizzie Showenhower, daughter of Freakshow and Lydia, do solemnly swear to end Danny Phantom...so he may never walk this world or the next...ever again.

It has been three years since Amity Park first saw ghosts, and now it was uncommon to go a day without an explosion or fight of some kind. Heroes have shown up, the Red Huntress, the GIW, The Fenton's, and Phantom. Danny Fenton used to be an A+ student; he was going to go on to be an astronomer, an astronaut, and live out his dreams of visiting the stars. No one really knows what happened to the bright kid he used to be, but he was now failing practically every class, and if he wasn't sleeping in class, he was missing half of it. No one knows what happened to the bright young star, but they want to. Danny Phantom is the Ghost Prince. After defeating the prior Ghost King, every entity in the Ghost Realm was preparing for his coronation. The day his body turns eighteen years old, he will be the Ghost King. However, they cannot have a halfling as their king, so the only viable option is to kill his human half. Thankfully that has already been written into the coronation process. They just need to collect the ingredients for the potion. Danny Phantom would rather not be king, but he doesn't get a say in the matter. - The title is from the song Dark on Me from Starset. I just thought it was kind of cool. I started writing this a while ago, and I have a few parts already written, but I am going to hold off on posting them because I have a habit of procrastination, so maybe waiting to post for a few days or so will help me actually update it.
