"Hey babe." I looked at the doorway where my husband stood with his hands in his pockets before turning back to my bag. I wiped under eyes and picked up a baby blue sleeper and that did it, I broke down again. Jason came over and pulled me into his arms, holding my head on his chest and rubbing my back.

"Why? Why did he not make it Jay?" I was in labor for fifteen hours before giving birth to a beautiful eight pound seven ounce baby boy, but my baby was stillborn. 

"Babe... I don't know. We knew from the start that this could..." He choked on his sobs and we just held each other, trying to draw comfort from one another. We held each other until the nurses came in with my wheelchair to bring me out. I couldn't looked at anything anymore so Jason finished putting everything away and then we were out. I couldn't help but think our baby boy should be in my arms right now. Baby Landon. He should be in my arms, on his way to meet his family. His cousin Rebecca, who is only nine months and his uncle Trevon and auntie Ally. His grandparents. He should be here. I felt someone grab my arm and that pulled me back to reality. "Come on babe." Jason helped me up and into our truck. I kept my eyes forward because I knew sitting there in the back was the car seat we set up for Landon yesterday when we came to the hospital. Jason got on and took my hand before we drove home. When we got to our house he helped me out and helped me into the house. I walked past the living room where everyone was waiting and went straight to the room I couldn't deal with this right now.

I look up at Todd's window and grimace when I see him gently pushing Jennifer into his room. So that's where he went. My stomach clenches painfully as I watch him pull her in for a slow kiss and I quickly drop to the floor when he suddenly breaks off the kiss and looks directly at me. The last thing I need is for him to think that I'm being a creeper and spying on him. I hold my breath for a few seconds before cautiously peering over the edge of the window, looking into his room. Being the youngest out of 8 boys is difficult. It seemed that the trail of good looks and talents and finished it course before it reached me. My brothers who are all good looking and talented were popular. They were happy at least until I came along. For some reason my mother had difficult giving birth to me and she couldn't have any more after me. She had problems during the pregnancy too. She almost miscarried but I survived. Somehow. Then I guess when I kicked her for the first time it was so sudden she almost had a heart attack so she was in the hospital for a month. While my mother was pushing she got so worked up she almost passed out so that did something to my body as a baby. But I'll get to that. They said that they had to do an emergency c-section. So yeah. The doctors said that it pretty much saved my life. That I was suffocating inside of my mother. So when they pulled my out they realized something was wrong. For one I didn't have a vagina. The doctors told my parents that I would have been a girl. Another thing is when they had me in the incubation room I was quiet. Dead quiet. Even when I came out of my mothers stomach. I was quiet. I barely made a noise. This of course worried the doctor. So they ran tests. And what they found was nothing. Well nothing that they deemed worriable. BTW- I have no editor, no updating schedule, my grammar is the best and I don't know many "big" words. Warning- not for the faint of heart.
