Heather and Benjamin. They met in the least of flattering circumstances, but fall for each other regardless. With Heather's past coming back to the surface, and tensions rising between Ben and some unlikely villains, they'll have to work to get past this.
This is just a little story I came up with years ago and I thought I go back over and revamp it. Hope you enjoy. I'm a sucker for a good dramatic romance novel, what can I say.
Mature language and maybe smut? Haven't gotten there quite yet, but who knows.

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! There are but a variety of emotions that NANCY experiences throughout this journey. A few of those emotions would be love, jealousy, and regret while she discovers the world around her. She will have to do a lot to win the heart of her true love, the anxious James Finch. Even if it means resorting to violence. Even if it means ending a few lives. Will she ever have James wrapped around her finger, or will she discover some things that she shouldn't have? Sci-Fi Drama is a more accurate way to describe the story. I only am putting this on Wattpad because I don't know where else to keep track of every chapter separately or where to publish it. Also because haha funy website Yes, the mature theme is prevalent. Her entire life so far had been like one sunny afternoon, passing quickly and soon forgotten along with all the other days that had no stand-out excitement or tragedy. "Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around.
