Two parents have a daughter named Sully who is having a birthday party when the mom who is pregnant is standing on the deck wanting to go in the boat and falls into the water and loses the baby after she is passed out. They are looking to adopt and they meet a woman who lives in a woman's shelter. They invite her to live with them and things are good for a while until Sully finds out that she isn't actually pregnant! And that is when things start to go south.
