Reagan DeLane grew up in Pearl Harbor where her dad, a United States Marine, was stationed; where she learned the values of patriotism that she always held near. When she was 10, he taught her how to be the best player she could be. When she was 14, her brother was deployed to Afghanistan. When she was 16, he returned home and she really learned what it meant to be a family. Now, Reagan's father is getting transferred to California where he'll be training new recruits at Camp Pendleton. The DeLane family decides its best that Reagan, her mother, her brother, and her two younger siblings live in LA for the time being.

Elijah Wood grew up in an All-American family, his father taught him how to play football when he was five years old and since then he's been the schools star football player. When he was 10 he told his dad that he wanted to be just like him, a United States Marine. When he was 14 the Wood's moved to Los Angeles. When he was 16 his dad was deployed for his third tour overseas. And when he was 17, the summer before senior year, his world was forever changed.
