Tiana Taittinger had a very sheltered upbringing. Literally sheltered, since she was home-schooled her entire childhood. Home-schooled, and practically spent ordinary days on house-arrest, because the outside world was too dangerous for her. She had been kidnapped twice despite her family's heavy security, and was diagnosed with PTSD at a tender age.
