Set years before the events of The Black Earl and leads into the manga. This story delves into the sordid past of the Black Earl through the perspectives of his two servants, Lydia Lanford and Rainier Demorhyde.

A tragic accident becomes the turning point of Restis's life and he is granted a once in a life time opportunity. He eventually obtains everything he could have ever wanted, but still he feels empty inside. his trust is broken and he is left unable to believe anything as truth anymore. How will Lydia and Rain cope with the sour truths that are revealed to them, as well as their own forbidden romance?

This story will probably be badly written- so don't expect too much lol.
