She finds out that he's from a race of Chaos made by the Angel Raziel, and that she is also one with two different powers but Chaos are only born with one, everyone thinks she's the new generation on Chaos. But when the enemy, the Foreshadowed somehow get their hands on her, her family secrets crawl out and reveal a power she has no idea existed. The man tells her his name finally but he also reveals a dark horrible secret from his past which traumatized him for years, then she feels like she's actually falling in love with him. He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own. Magic? Nope. Hidden towns? Definitely not. Sexy mentors? Well.... oh, go on then. My guess is the latter, but he is so gorgeous that a little complication is a small sacrifice to make. Dane just wants to get left alone. Ever since losing his brother, he's not been quite the same.
