She dreamed of traveling. Of seeing the world. But her wildest dreams never pictured more than one world.

When time momentarily freezes in her music classroom, Aelia catches on that something unusual is up. Then otherworldly creatures drift into her life uninvited, asking for help. But even with the aid of her brilliant best friend named Kellan, Aelia doesn't know how to give it.

A boy calling himself Boulder appears next, asking for help as well. But unlike the others, he has a clue that could unravel the whole mystery.

What connects everything? Finding out lands Aelia in strange new worlds, and casts her into situations both hilarious and dire. It's physics class turned upside down. At the same time, Aelia struggles with internal problems that make her question if love is really worth a try. Will she navigate these worlds and her troubled heart with ease, or will she make a mistake that dooms her to a dreadful fate? Only she can save herself, or so she thinks.

A desert-town math whiz meets an ambidextrous artist, a Scorpio... in the wake of a best friend's death, two white envelopes that freak people out, and a diamond pearl that might be LSD. In the outskirts of Las Vegas, freshman Aurora (a.k.a. Ari) takes refuge in calculus and probability problems to escape the demons of her painful past. Math was what the prestigious prep school Staglight Academy had recruited her for-her, a girl from the wrong side of the train tracks. Plus, numbers are logical; math makes sense. This predictable world built on immutable mathematical theorems doesn't plague you with chronic insomnia, doesn't let Katrina-your best friend-die, and definitely doesn't hurl a tornado through the middle of the Mohave. But a desert cyclone is exactly how their twin escapes begin-Ari, running from the horrors that have chased her throughout time, and Xanexa, running from the horrors that have chased xyr across the universe. They run until they meet, when Ari comes face-to-face with xyr, an amazing artist whose sketches are so real they could come to life. From that initial encounter, she begins to discover the dangerous, life-threatening truths that had been buried with Katrina. Under an increasingly constricting web of manipulation and deceit that imperil Ari and those around her, those truths resurface with the ones about herself that had been buried beneath the sands of time-truths that are wholly irrational, just like art-- --and pi, a number xe shows her the end to, even though it is real, irrational, natural, and never-ending.

Grayson Summers has loved Talia Chase since kindergarten-but while she barely remembers him, he's never stopped watching from afar. When fate brings them closer after a championship night, long-buried feelings begin to surface. *** Sometimes, the guy falls in love first. Deeply. In kindergarten, she gave him a flower. She forgot her kindness, but he would always remember. No matter how many girls Grayson Summers dates or hooks up with, he can never forget Talia Chase. Accidentally labeled as the high school's womanizer, he continuously collects more and more problems. Too scared of rejection, Grayson has never asked Talia to be his, and only spends his time hopelessly dreaming. Talia is confused. Her friends have told her Grayson Summers is not a guy who smiles or is kind, but Talia swears she has seen him act both of those ways before. The universe has plans. After the night of the basketball state championship, Talia finds herself questioning Grayson's true reasons behind his actions as the two grow closer together. *** Warning: this story contains strong language, alcohol and drug use, and sexual content
