After Makarov's birthday party five important fairies flee from Magnolia gathering their allies. Because of a past mission:

Lucy, Erza, Levy, Juvia, Lisanna, Yukino and Kagura has had their Fate changed. Keeping a secret, they disappear leaving their comrades and friends in sadness, despair and utter shock. Then to make it worse, Mira and Wendy disappear? 

 And why they left?

It is still a mystery but maybe Mavis can shed some light upon them. Because who knows. Maybe, and just maybe will the guilds be able to help the girls win the Dimensional  war.
