Renata Mendelssohn has been confined inside her master's home as a slave for the majority of her life. Along with her older brother named Engel and a young boy named Kilian, she has lived a life filled with harsh labor and limited freedom, for they were never allowed to set foot outside the boundaries of their master's house. 

Renata is convinced that they will live this way forever until the day Kilian escapes the house to watch the eventful procession of the Survey Corps returning from their recent expedition. In her journey to bring back Kilian, she encounters Commander Erwin Smith who enthusiastically offers to help Renata escape her servitude. His attempt in doing this results in an outcome that changes Renata's life completely. 

This turn in fate ultimately convinces Renata to join the Survey Corps. Renata struggles with her trust, determination, and strength as she lives an entirely new life of comradeship and war: things that she didn't need to deal with during her days as a slave. However, her life as a Survey Corps member isn't entirely bad. She realizes a much deeper meaning of life from her time spent with the cold Captain Levi. As he continues to work with her, Levi sees the beauty of compassion and empathy; two aspects of Renata that shine above all else. In this compelling fan-made story, readers will witness true love that reaches above and beyond walls: love that will remain eternal even if the day of humanity's obliteration becomes an unfortunate reality. Years and years past and the first wall was struck, down it went and the titans swarmed in, killing the innocent creatures within. You watched the armored titan break down the wall that day, knowing both him and the colossal titan were shifters. Your platinum blonde hair flowed in the wind, and your crystal blue eyes were glaring at the scene before you as you kept your head high with a stoic face. You knew this was no place for your entrance, seeing as you felt the humans could handle this situation. Eren the boy titan shifter arose, the 104th cadet troops had entered one of the 3 regiments and on one certain expedition you noticed a smaller man in need of some assistance.
