Do you ever get that feeling that life just has it out for you? I do all the time. And sometimes I just fight it until I can't move. But then.... sometimes, I just can't. It just becomes too suffocating. The darkness.

Darkness is like swimming in a pool, but the pool suddenly becomes the ocean, and the water turns to sticky oil. Darkness is failing. Failing to protect the only thing you love. And just when you think you've made it, they disappear anyway. Never to be found again. The whole while.... knowing they're out there somewhere. Hoping they still love you.

 No.

Darkness is having them be out there and knowing they still love you. And having yourself love them just as much.

Im Seraphim Termaine, and this is the story of how I fought darkness.
