Nora Hastings is very happy with her life and is deeply in love with her boyfriend Nathan. With her dream job, perfect partner and amazing friends her life defines perfect.
But when she goes to a high school friends reunion she spots Mark Terrell.

Mark was Nora's biggest crush but also her biggest rival all through out school life. This is not a cliche story of old love resurfacing. It is a story that will unfold through memories and events about how their egos and rivalry kept Nora and Mark apart and made them stick to the "just friends" label throughout their childhood and in high school. How they would rather die than admit any feeling toward each other. How even though all Mark wanted to do was to kiss Nora he would just spit out sarcasm at her face. The face he found beautiful but sneered at and called ugly. They were friends who were attracted to each other sexually and maybe even through a stronger heart connection but their friendship was hesitant in their even expressing the slightest affection towards each other . The wall between them was a solid wall of Ego that their weak hearts were not capable of bringing down.

This story is a recount about a battle of Egos had only resulted in two hearts bleeding and straying apart as the struggle for pushing each other down only pushed away their innocent feelings.
