Seven year old Amy Wells has been battling leukemia. Her strongest supporter is her older sister, fifteen year old Lauren. Three weeks before Lauren's sixteenth birthday Amy makes a turn for the worst. Given the ultimatum, Amy is sent home with a nurse to live out her final days in peace. To cope Lauren begins writing letters to Amy. Letters to let her go.
