Taylor Swift is a global pop sensation with an almost 20 year career under her belt, Jordan Adkins is an American singer-songwriter that completely blew up two years ago, her first album making numbers no one in the music industry had seen for a debut. Jordan's songwriting skills were compared to the ones of Taylor herself, everyone labeling her as "the next Taylor Swift" and Taylor absolutely fucking hated it. The blonde woman was fully over it and even though she knew it wasn't the younger singer's fault, Taylor couldn't help but resent her for it. During Jordan's first year of fame, the young brunette singer would namedrop Taylor every chance she got, she was such a big Taylor fan and everyone knew it. Taylor even found it adorable, at first, but after the comparisons started and Jordan started pulling off the numbers she was making, Taylor didn't like it so much anymore. At one point, Taylor asked her publicist to reach out to Jordan's and ask her to stop naming her on interviews. Jordan hasn't uttered anything Taylor related ever since.
