Candy and her brother were a part an experiment, Candy was given the heart if a ghoul and her brother Alex was given the kidney of a ghoul. Candy hated being a ghoul and escaped, she refuses to eat human and is now crawling around Tokyo hoping for an investigator to kill her. Alex on the other hand has gone insane and is killing humans nonstop.
so when he finds Candy.... well let's just say it's not so fun.
Eventually Candy is brought to the CCG where they find out she's more human than ghoul, like she can eat certain human foods but she still needs flesh every now and then. the CCG think of her as there secret weapon. she can smell ghouls from a mile away and her quinque is very useful. but when she gets to know Suzuya things start getting complicated.
