He watched her take a sip, and then admire her reflection in the water. Unaware of his presence, she started to walk away, her hips sashaying like a movie star.

Careful not to alert her, he followed stealthily behind. Faceless, voiceless, like a stalker in the dark.

Suddenly she turned around and spotted him. He could savour the look of terror in her eyes for a fraction of a second only, before she ran away as fast as she could.

Undeterred, he followed. Ran like he was so used to. She could not match his pace, and he caught up with her soon enough.

She begged and pleaded, but he was mad with hunger now. He sunk his teeth into her soft flesh, and felt her protests weaken, and slowly die.

The majestic lion let out a roar of victory, and feasted on his latest catch – a nubile young deer.All Rights Reserved
