The Shadowhunter world has been hit by a flurry of attacks, small mysterious deaths here and there but it all adds up. The Council doesn't seem to find it worth investigation yet but the members of the New York Institute do. The team of the Mortal Instruments, joined by Emma Castairs, a victim of the attacks, and her to be parabati, Jules, along with the freshly Ascended Simon, they decide to investigate.
They are aided by Tessa, as she is reunited with Jem but as they investigate they struggle to stay as they were, will Tessa's heart be broken once again?
Note: I have not read Tales from The Shadowhunter Academy yet so this doesn't include anything revealed in them.
