Kenna Mathews is an ordinary girl-or so she thought. On her sixteenth birthday, she discovered that she was part of a group of elemental warriors that were destined to save the world, and that she was the elemental of water. There is one more girl and two boys. The girls name is Olivia, she is the elemental of earth. Jack is the elemental of wind. Then there's Cole, the elemental of fire. Together they are meant to save the world from shadows, warriors driven by pure hatred and darkness, but can they do it? Or will they destroy each other first?

"I wish I could kiss you," he confessed, looking over at the ice elemental in front of him after the words are left hanging in the air. "I'm ready to risk it all if you are," there is no hint of amusement, or lying, seen in his dark brown eyes as the words slip from his parted lips. Academy Initia is where elementals, people who can control elements at there whim, go to train their abilities. There is water/ice (other wise known as frost), earth, wind, and fire. Fire and Frost elementals are kept apart since they can potentially kill each other from a touch. Though, when the Academy is attacked, it forces the officials to have the students work together to become more powerful as one. Forcing the fire and water elementals to interact. And maybe, two boys, do a little more than that. COVER IS COURTESY OF @yoongidique
