All that remains of the humans is what they left behind. A deadly pathogen killed them all but also enhanced the minds of the 'lesser' creatures. Now the animals rule the Earth once again. Lycos, a wolf abandoned as a pup and raised by humans, is now a part of a group called the Rangers. They are tasked with protecting the zoo, and all of the animals that call it home, by any means deemed necessary. We follow Lycos and his new friends through a story that will take twists and turns and leaves you wanting more. Follow @CaydenLarsen for updates of when more chapters will be uploaded.

Lyra Gilbert was born unwanted. Raised beneath the fists of a cruel father and the shadow of a sister who never let her forget it, she's spent her life surviving - quiet, invisible, and alone. Until the night she runs. Bleeding and hunted, Lyra disappears into the forest where the trees whisper like ghosts and the shadows press too close. But something older than wolves watches from the dark - something with golden eyes and blood-soaked claws. And it's not the only one. In a world where monsters walk in human skin and ancient bloodlines rule from the shadows, Lyra finds herself caught in the jaws of something far more dangerous than fate: a legacy she was never meant to survive. She thought freedom meant escape. She didn't know it would begin with a bite. TRIGGER WARNING There is domestic violence in this book.
