There are two types of people in this world. Mortals who for the most part are completely oblivious to the world around them and are in constant need of protection. Then there's people like me.The Guardians. We protect the chosen. The chosen are mortals that are basically demon magnets. The chosen are the ones that have inherited guardian blood usually from grandparents but can go as far back as the first Guardians. The more Guardian blood you get the stronger the trace. The trace is what the demons track. Chosen blood makes them stronger so they hunt them in hunger for power and immortality.

War. War is all this generation knows. Ever since the dragon wars started, most citizens have been living in fear. You are different. You are a traveler, a rogue, caught in the midst of the war. A plague has swept through the land, empowering dragons, but slowly killing them. You have the choice to either let your dragon be weaker, and have no plague, or make it stronger, and have it die faster. You have a bond to your dragon, whatever happens to it, happens to you. This bond was made by someone you don't know, you've wanted to find this out all your life. You went out into the forest and made a camp with the other rogues. You've become friends-- but you will split soon if you choose to. The choice you were given was to either join the war, and help your nation, or don't fight, and stop the Plague.
