A surprise can change a life 

A sudden tug at my earphones snaps me out of my daze and back into reality
"Jerk" I mumble looking to my side seeing my Carter 
The lanky ginger boy looks down at me and laughed 
"Bitch" he smiles 
"Happy birthday, assbutt" he shoves me gently 
I look down at my shoes and sigh 
"Don't remind me..."
He gives me another smile but this one is somewhat sympathetic, he pats me on the back before quickly running away from me...wot? 

My earphones go back in and I check my phone before returning in to my zombie like state 
8:04 am my phone flashed at me Before the screen changed showing I had a text message
