I wrote this book in 2015. It's short and isn't my best work but it's the first book I've ever finished.

Ashley, a 12 year old girl, was found at the doorstep of a group home with nothing but a simple blue book. Having endured so much drama in her past, Ashley barely spoke, and isolated herself away in her room, refusing to share anything, even putting up a fight whenever they tried moving her to a new home. But with a surprising turn of luck, Jane, a new foster parent, was able to strike a chord with Ashley, and brought her into her home. And soon after, a young girl is able to slip past Ashley's walls with some persistence. But several questions still remain. What happened in Ashley's past? What is that mysterious blue book that Ashley's refuses to let go of? ******COMPLETED****** but don't read. Horrible story and plot line. Needs major editing and a possible scrap. 😂😂😂 School is hard enough. You have your typical jerks and bullies. Not to mention school work and terrible teachers. Oh and of course your typical relationships. Abby is no different until tragedy hits home for her. One second her mother is there and the next she's gone. Now plagued with hard decisions and a father who is losing his cool, she has to figure out a way to move on. But when she is put to the test will she be able to be the girl that her mother always wanted? Or will she fall flat on her face and lose everything she has held dear to her. "You are a worthless piece of trash! We should've gotten rid of you when we had the chance!" My abusive dad shouted, slapping me with all of his might. My name is Chloe Adams. Both of my parents have abused me my entire life. I'm covered in bruises, cuts, and burns from head to toe, but I've learned how to cover them up. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever escape this hell hole. "Yeah you should've." I agreed, whispering under my breath. "What was that!?" He yelled even louder than before. "N-Nothing." I stuttered, afraid of his reaction. I don't want to be pushed down the stairs again. The last time that happened, I broke my wrist. They didn't even take me to the hospital. I had to bandage it myself. "That's what I thought! Go fetch me a beer!" He ordered. There comes a moment when you don't want to stop. When you don't want to get better. You just don't care anymore. Nearly 8 years of phycial abuse, she learned to isolate herself amongst her peers from school. She distanced herself from friends that she used to have. Only spoke when necessary. Everytime someone would try to befriend with her, she would push them away. Caught up with her own messed up life, she met Brandon the new guy from her class. He's not your typical cliche jock guy. Brandon seems to have some interest on Angela. But with her pushing him away everytime he tries to get to know her, it made it extra harder for him to talk to her.
