Corporal Griscom had worked for the Government, until that is he found out that the Government's methods of attempting to defeat them. He left the Government and gave them hell. One day he runs into a Group of Rebels. And their leader, Sergent Warner. As the war rages on, Warner and Griscom suffer losses but gain something. Will they be able to stop the war and drive these Mechs back home? Or will they lose, and lose something far more valuable than freedom?

It seem like Hardwell is developing a weapon that can destroy planets. Max and his team need to find this weapon and destroy it. All the while, Max is still dealing with trauma after twenty years where his village was unmercifully slaughtered. Even when he has all he could ever want.
