In a future world governed by the Educational Institution Headquarters, one ultimate goal is drilled into every person from birth: to gain acceptance into Academia, a legendary institution. Hyria is one such student, devoting every second of her time, every molecule of her being, and every thought in her mind-until she stumbles upon something life changing.

A small piece of clay.

From an unassuming piece of clay, her world is turned upside down. Rejecting all codes of conduct and expected behavior, Hyria begins to see that Academia is not life's sole purpose. The Educational Institution Headquarters reacts swiftly, and works to smother the unrest that begins to rustle through society-but it is not so easily snuffed out. The change has already taken flight, and the shell has cracked.

14 parts Ongoing
At San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where brilliance borders on obsession, two prodigies stand at the top of their fields: Hiro Hamada, the young tech genius known for his revolutionary robotics, and Astrid Takahashi, an astronomy prodigy with a mind that reaches beyond galaxies. Their rivalry is legendary-sharp debates, competitive inventions, and academic one-upmanship define their relationship. Hiro thrives on precision and innovation; Astrid dreams in nebulae and cosmic equations. They clash constantly, push each other harder than anyone else ever could... but somewhere beneath the jabs and eye rolls, a subtle connection begins to form. One neither of them is ready to acknowledge. What neither knows is that they're both leading double lives. Hiro, beneath his cool demeanor and casual hoodie, is secretly a superhero-fighting crime with advanced tech, covert missions, and a team that works in the shadows. Meanwhile, Astrid receives a mysterious offer from a prestigious "astronomy research program." But the deeper she delves into it, the more she realizes: it's a recruitment front for a classified superhero agency, one that monitors celestial threats and arms its recruits with alien-level tech. Their worlds begin to overlap in strange, dangerous ways. Missions coincide with mysterious tech failures at school. Hiro begins to suspect something's changed in Astrid-she's sharper, more elusive, and somehow connected to the shadows he works in. Astrid, meanwhile, starts noticing how Hiro disappears at odd times, his injuries, and his uncanny knowledge of things he shouldn't know. As secrets build and trust is tested, their rivalry slowly gives way to something more tender-an emotional gravity neither can fight. It's a slow burn-glances held too long in the lab, quiet moments under starlit skies, unspoken care in the chaos of missions. But in a world where intellect is power and identity is the most guarded secret, falling in love might be the biggest risk of all.
