Before Sora, before Hollow Bastion, there was Radiant Garden- a quiet town filled with equally quiet people. The atmosphere was friendly and joyful, and there was a general peace shared among the community. But when strange events and happenings occur inside the home of the town's ruler Ansem the Wise- an old man devoted to science and his people- things begin to change.
The story starts with a young woman named Neo, her friends Rachel, Isa, and Lea, and their many adventures together. But when they try to solve the mysteries of their hometown, will their faith in each other hold? Or will the unknown secrets unravel, along with their friendships?

This is an AxelxReader story. Though there is added content, I tried my best to keep the story as close to the game as possible. (Or, at least, what we know so far about this part of the timeline.) I do not own Kingdom Hearts, or any of its characters. Duh.

The newly born Racydex is discovered in Twilight Town by Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII, who recruits her as their thirteenth member. Unlike other Nobodies, Racydex lacks memories of her original self and develops a personality of her own as time passes, as if she's developing her own heart and soul. After being recruited by Xemnas, Racydex is sent on daily missions to other worlds to destroy vast quantities of Heartless and release stolen hearts with her Keyblade, which furthers the Organization's goal of creating Kingdom Hearts and becoming complete beings. After Axel and several other members are reassigned to Castle Oblivion, Racydex partners with Xen, a fourteenth member inducted shortly after Racydex. Together they go on many missions, forming a close bond with Axel. Racydex, Axel and Xen are the best of friends, they could ever have. Then, the Dark Mirror appeared in front of Y/N's heart and she enters through a world called, 'Twisted Wonderland', a world where magic exists and budding mages attend colleges. Kingdom Hearts 1 (Female Sora AU)
The events of the Kingdom Hearts Saga if Sora and Kairi had been born the opposite gender. Soraya is an average tomboyish girl living on the Destiny Islands with her two best friends. Riku, who had been her closest friend her whole life (so close that they were practically siblings), and Kai, a sweet and creative boy who she had a slight crush on. One day, when Soraya was fourteen, her life changed forever when darkness invaded her home, and only she had the power to combat it. Little did she know that she was the prophesied Child of Destiny. ***I've loved Kingdom Hearts for years. I have all three main games. I've seen a couple genderbend fanfictions about it before, which were really good, but I thought I could elaborate more. Only Sora and Kairi are genderbent in this fanfiction. I do realize that Sora is a Japanese unisex name, but I associate it too much with a boy character to use it. Soraya is a Persian name that means "star cluster," which I feel fits perfectly, and Kai is a unisex name that means "sea" in Hawaiian, which also works well. There will be no POVs in this fanfiction. Kingdom Hearts is the property of Square Enix and Disney. Found inspiration for Kai's design on Google Images. (Copywrite is the last thing I want). I only own the genderbent versions of Sora and Kairi. So please enjoy my first entry in my genderbent Kingdom Hearts Saga. Also, I may include some more detailed information about some characters.
