Everyone has nightmares, right?
Even the sweetest of people, even little girls who were once such dreamers. And eventually--just as all your mothers had told you to halt trails of tears--the nightmares would stop.
Such a shame this was not the case of Wendy Darling. Her nightmares grew and grew until they were all that consumed her mind. Her dreamer eyes turned haunted and solemn, as if she had aged a thousand years--her worst fear was coming true: She was growing up.
At the peak of her 17th birthday, Wendy was experiencing the silliest of scary dreams. She had been having nightmares about the great Peter Pan. Only this time, the handsome immortal boy she knew and loved is.. growing? He WAS growing. And it hurt him, because it wasn't only himself that grew, but his weakness as well.
She needed to get back to Neverland, but how?
There was no fairy dust, and she was sure she couldn't remember how to fly, and no happy thoughts came to mind. Just as she had began to give up and let her mind be fried from the dreaded plague of her dreams, the twinkling of bells would begin to turn the gears of fate once more.
The adventure begins again.

In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But what she wants to do with that information is, for the very first time, is absolutely unclear to Peter. That doesn't sit well with the Ruler of Neverland. And whatever doesn't sit well with Peter, he either figures it out or kills it. COMPLETED ♡ Wendy is on the run from Pan. She had finally escaped Pan after many of being locked In the bamboo cage, but he will stop at nothing to bring her back. She lives through the decades and doesn't grow old. But the police want to arrest Pan for kidnapping and murder, so they arrest Wendy to get information. She is in one location too long, and she had been located by Lost boys. "I'm coming for you my Wendy-Bird" But as she is caught, she is defiant at first but he erased any memory of him murdering anybody, so she learns to forgive him. He's more compassionate then he was before she had escaped and she's sleep in his treehouse with him side by side. Surprised by his compassion (well more like his less harsh to her) She absorbs the moment, she's for once happy after a very long time. So she doesn't run, she doesn't fight back (unless it's playfully), she cooperates. They learn to lean on each other in a time of need. Wendy doesn't want to leave him, as he hid the only one who searched for her and cared enough to stay. But soon she realizes how easily a person can be replaced. That there are secret intentions behind every speech and remark. Is it true love? Even so, there's is a means to an end. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ It is mature due to a little violence. It gets better as the book progresses I don't own any OUAT characters. If Peter was only a dream after all. Without the Darlings' belief, Neverland grew dark and Peter started to change... But that is only just the beginning. An unwanted marriage, Hook's newest dastardly plans for revenge, an evil released upon the island, blossoming feelings, and a past threatening to be remembered. Together, these things will make Pan rethink the morals engrained into his entire existence.
