A girl who always welcomes the guests with a warm smile never thinks twice before helping Madame Hucheloup and brings snacks for the always hungry boys, hidden in the back room. To them, she's only a girl who works at the Café, a girl who is always there to linger around and listen to their meetings, criticize their opinions and to make sure they go home before three in the morning. Enjolras has always been annoyed by her presence, but never denied her entrance to the back room, partially because feared angering the boys and Madame Hucheloup who all seemed to adore this simple girl, but also because he always found himself unable to utter a reasonable sounding world in a conversation with her. With the impending revolution, the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC has no time to think about the irrelevant girl. Courfeyrac, their best friend. The centre of the group. He's always there to support his friends, to tell a joke or two and to mend everyone's problems. Can it be that he is not all he seems to be? Two friends, Marius (born in 1810) and Odette (born in 1813), grew up in the life of the luxury. Their wealth never clouded their judgement, and neither did their poverty when the money was stripped away from them. More like they were stripped away from the money. Odette's mother died when she was fairly young, and after her father remarried, he was shortly reported missing after heading off to battle. A cruel step-mother cut Odette out of the life her parents wanted her to grow up in, and she was forced to work in the streets from age thirteen in 1826 till 1829 when she was reunited with her best friend. And now she works to keep herself and her new found family going, whilst fighting. Fighting hard for a better shot at survival. But what if someone is one her mind? She doesn't like hearing of fighting. She's the opposite of her sister Gabrielle. Gabrielle had her faults. She and Cosette had both had traumatic childhoods. Was she still getting over hers? Enjolras begins a revolution for the people. He wanted things to change for them. Why did he do it though? Courfeyrac was a young student revolutionary. He was in love though. [ I do NOT own any of the characters except for Gabrielle! This is based off partly the novel written by Victor Hugo but mostly from the 2012 film version of Les Miserables. ]Complete
A Heart Full of Love: An Eposette Love Story
When Marius falls in love with Cosette, Eponine feels bad for him because she knows that the girl doesn't like him back. When Cosette sees Marius for the first time, she expects to feel something that every girl would when meeting a cute boy, but she doesn't. Then Eponine and Cosette meet. What will happen next? ~ DISCLAIMER: 1. I do not own any of the characters in this story, they all belong to Victor Hugo, I have just made different interpretations of them 2. This story will not be accurate to the real story for various reasons. To avoid spoilers, I will give two. Firstly, Eponine and Cosette are in a relationship and Cosette does not love Marius, and neither does Eponine. Secondly, the beginning of the story takes place about a year before it takes place in the musical and movie version. Marius and Cosette meet in the summer of 1831 and that is also when Cosette and Eponine fall in love. 3. After the first two chapters, the picture will not be of the character narrating the story but of the other character. For example, Chapter 3 will be from Eponine's perspective but will have a picture of Cosette. Same goes with all the chapters after Chapter 2.Complete
Deceiving Passion
I couldn't answer him. I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't think I could really say anything to him. I did not want to face the facts of what had happened, or the consequences I knew were soon to follow. I just wanted to avoid it all. I wanted to deceive the passion that was burning deep inside of me, and simply forget that any of this had ever happened. I wished to pretend that I hadn't slept with Marius, and betrayed Eponine. I wished that it was Enjolras who I truly loved, and wanted to spend the rest of my life with. But I simply couldn't. You can't deceive passion. No matter how much I had wanted to. I couldn't.
